It is great feeling to see new model phones marching out with the chip which I worked with. The new model of phones never cease to surprise me. Without any doubt, I can say the Wireless is the future technology. It is truly amazing to see what Mobile phones of today are capable of.

With my Creative Hat on, I was thinking what future mobile will be able to do.
This is just an innovative, creative and funny imagination, what will cell phones look like in the future.

Street View Bypassed

Street View is probably point where technology starts peeping on to your privacy zone, just after Google Adsense started reading your emails.

Regarding Street View many people have voiced their concerns regarding the privacy implications of Google’s Street View service - but what if there were a way to “opt-out” of having your neighborhood displayed online?

Yes, it appears that some enterprising resident of Fairbanks, Alaska, has worked out how to completely disable the Street View car’s onboard recording device! Even better, the process doesn’t involve any technical wizardry - all you need to do is stick a plastic bag over the top of the camera.

See the location here

If you're like me, you've been wondering about the vehicles they're using to create those voyeuristic, 360-degree, street-level images in Manhattan's concrete canyons and beyond. Well, here's a hint: that's Immersive Media's vehicle reflected in the Street View picture captured below.

ISRO successfully launches 10 satellites into orbit

ISRO successfully launches 10 satellites into orbit : Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) today created history with the launch of its latest Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV - C9). A world record was set when the mission successfully injected 10 satellites into the orbit.

The launch took off from Sriharikota Andhra Pradesh. PSLV weighs 230 tonnes and is as high as a 12-storey building. The mission was accomplished by putting two Indian satellites and eight foreign satellites. The previous record was held by Russia, which had launched eight satellites in one go.

The first stage of the rocket was ignited at the lift-off. Three minutes later a massive heat shield got peeled off. There after, the third and the fourth stages ignited taking the rocket higher.

Fifteen minutes after the flight, India's mapping satellite, CARTOSAT 2A was the first one to be put into its orbit. 45 second later India's remote sensing satellite was placed into orbit.

The other satellites were then released, sequentialy, with a gap of 20 seconds. The mission was concluded in 20 minutes after lift-up.

Japan's CUTE was the first foreign satellite to be placed in orbit and Germany's RUBIN was the last to be injected.

CORTOSAT 2A is a high resolution mapping satellite placed at a height of 600 kms. It has an ability to identify objects as small as cars from its orbit in space.

Photoshop (Online) Expresso

Adobe's announcement of Photoshop Express was the most interesting news for me. The maker of the popular photo-editing software Photoshop on Thursday launched a basic version available for free online.

This Rich Internet Application (RIA) will allow users to adjust their photos via a web browser instead of using an application that resides on their hard drive. This is particularly useful for travelers using a variety of public computers in conjunction with online photo services such as Flickr.

My current favorite online image editor of this type is Picnik, which I think works very well. Photoshop Express, as well as Picnik, are free RIA applications.

This is my Screen shot during exploring Photoshop Express.

RIA - This is the battlefield where Adobe and Microsoft and Google are going to fight some pretty big battles, Keep watching guys.

10 Important Differences Between Brains and Computers

Difference # 1: Brains are analogue; computers are digital
Difference # 2: The brain uses content-addressable memory
Difference # 3: The brain is a massively parallel machine; computers are modular and serial
Difference # 4: Processing speed is not fixed in the brain; there is no system clock
Difference # 5 - Short-term memory is not like RAM
Difference # 6: No hardware/software distinction can be made with respect to the brain or mind
Difference # 7: Synapses are far more complex than electrical logic gates
Difference #8: Unlike computers, processing and memory are performed by the same components in the brain
Difference # 9: The brain is a self-organizing system
Difference # 10: Brains have bodies
Bonus Difference: The brain is much, much bigger than any current computer

GOOG-411, A new Idea for a Business

Becoming an Entrepreneur is always about ideas. Remember how youtube got in to the top?
And now it’s G00G-411, how creative.

I am also thinking about so many ideas, but few of them, seems so impossible to do and few of them so Silly. But now I found, there is nothing called as Silly Idea. Anything is good as far its New.

We, bunch of ASU friends (ASU Dudes) discussed so may ideas during our get-to gather, few ideas was very excellent, but still we did not initiate it. Why? lack of time and Motivation. It needs lot of planning and knowledge about the idea. Also few of them need lot of Capital to start of.

How about starting something really small, which does not require large capital or lot of time to plan? Something really small which you can start in a week, with less capital.

Please pitch in your ideas Gilli or Silly, we shall try to implement it. I will rank your ideas  and reward the best.

Roaming in India on CDMA by Reliance

This is working in India and have been commercial for a few months now! Currently they are offering $.69/ minute + carrier tolls, taxes and surcharges. I believe this ends up being about $.99/ minute. Please visit: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobileoptions/internationalsvcs/cdmaroaming.jsp for further explanation on services offered and customer support. Please visit: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobileoptions/internationalsvcs/cdmadialinginst.jsp for coverage maps and dialing instructions.

ByPass:
But without using this roaming facility you can still receive international call in India. Do you have call-forwarding (to another US number) feature on the cell phone? If so there is another way to achieve this roaming functionality but you will need high speed internet in your home in India. You can subscribe to sunrocket.com (or any other VoIP provider who does not need a contract), take the VoIP adapter they give to India and have it setup there. You will get a real US number as part of this service and you can fwd any incoming calls to your cell phone to this number and answer calls in India from your home or from anywhere you have internet connection (you can carry this adapter around if you wish). But this will not be a cell phone service in India – that is the only disadvantage. You can cancel this service once you return to US.

Pi

Kaif's numbers are dismal. 8, 5*, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0, 5, in his last eight knocks, an average of 22/7, 3.142857 ... If he remembers his high-school maths, Kaif will recognise that as the value of pi, the magic number that makes so many complex things so much simpler. If he remembers his cricketing basics, Kaif will recognise this 4-0 lead over England as a chance to turn things around, and get his groove back.
